We are Hiring! Darrington Collaborative Coordinator

Washington Wild is looking for a passionate and skilled individual to work with members of the Darrington Collaborative to help support and coordinate their work to support restoration forestry and aquatic restoration projects on the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest located in the North Cascades landscape.
The Darrington Collaborative brings together stakeholders from the community of Darrington, WA, the environmental community, members of the local Darrington timber industry, Darrington STEM youth education programs and representatives from federal, state and local government around shared goals of increasing ecologically sustainable timber harvest under the Northwest Forest Plan on the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in the Darrington vicinity while improving the ecological functioning of our forests and watersheds. This coordinator position will significantly increase the capacity of the Collaborative by accomplishing key administrative tasks, increasing the quality and volume of outreach to local stakeholders, developing relationships, and identifying additional grant opportunities for the Collaborative.
