Spruce tips, craft beer and keeping WA Wild!

Posted on Apr 4, 2017 in Brewshed, WA Wild Blog

We’re thrilled to announce that two of our Brewshed® Partners, Peddler Brewing Company and Lucky Envelope Brewing got together and decided to create a beer, the WA Wild Spruce Tip IPA, in honor of our wilderness areas!

Peddler Brewing Company has been a Brewshed Partner since 2013 and Lucky Envelope Brewing since 2015. Both of these partners, in addition to the nearly 50 other breweries and brewpubs throughout Washington State, support our work because they get it – clean and healthy watersheds that Washington Wild helps to protect – leads to superior downstream beer.

Barry Chan (Brewer/Owner at Lucky Envelope) teamed up with Dave Keller (Brewer/Owner at Peddler Brewing) to collaborate on this brew. The brew day was a ton of fun and two of our staff members, Stacey and Candace, placed the ceremonial spruce tips that were harvested from the local community, into the brew!
