Duwamish Alive! at Camp Long

October 19, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join Washington Wild, EarthCorps, and DNDA/Nature Consortium at Camp Long for Duwamish Alive! Saving our Salmon, Saves our Orca.

Help us restore the forested areas of Camp Long in West Seattle and improve water quality for salmon and orca by planting native trees and removing invasive species (English Ivy and Himalayan Blackberry). Many hands will make light work, and there will be live music to keep our spirits up!

To RSVP, email Hillary at hillary@wawild.org.

What to Bring:
Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes, and rain gear as needed. Bring a lunch if desired.

Our friends at Earth Corps will provide tools, gloves, water, a training and safety talk, water, and granola bars for everyone.

Talking Rain will provide canned beverages, but please also bring a refillable water bottle!

Directions:
The entrance to Camp Long is located at the intersection of SW Dawson St and 35th Ave SW.
