Join us at Icicle Brewing Company for a special celebratory Brewshed® Happy Hour.  On December 12, 2014 Congress passed the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Additions (click here to read the blog by Tom Uniack, Washington Wild’s Conservation Director) and on December 19, 2014 President Barak Obama signed it into law!  This bill also designated 40 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers along the Pratt and Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie Rivers.

This designation designated over 22,000 acres as newly created Wilderness adjacent to the current Alpine Lakes Wilderness, one of the most heavily used Wilderness areas in Washington State.  This area is also home to the headwaters of Icicle Creek, the source of the primary ingredient for Icicle Brewing Company’s delicious product.  Icicle Brewing Company is one of the original Brewshed® partners dating back to 2012 and there’s no questioning why- our work protects their water, and therefore their beer!

So come out and enjoy a beer with us in beautiful Leavenworth and celebrate this great milestone.  Additionally, there is a good chance there will be live music too!
