The Volunteer and Engagement Coordinator plays a coordinating role for the organization around volunteer management, training and cultivation. This position works with other staff to identify and create opportunities for volunteers to meaningfully engage in, and support, the mission of the organization. The position also assists in identifying and staffing outreach and engagement opportunities (i.e., events, tabling opportunities, action alerts, etc.) for the organization. This position reports to the Deputy Director.

The Olympic Forest Collaborative Coordinator provides facilitation support for members of the Olympic Forest Collaborative. This collaborative group leads restoration forestry and aquatic restoration projects within the Olympic National Forest. The OFC Coordinator will provide scheduling, agendas, and notes for weekly Collaborative and other stakeholder meetings, draft and post monthly updates to the Collaborative website, research information relative to the Collaborative’s work and work with both members of the conservation community and local timber industry to find common ground around forest health and management on Olympic National Forest.  

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with compensation of $22 an hour for 20 hours per week. If interested, please send resume and cover letter to christal@wawild.org.
