Earth Week Virtual Happy Hour: The Wild Olympics
From all of us at Washington Wild, we wish you a happy Earth Week! Can you believe it’s been 50 years since the first Earth Day was held across the United States? While the festivities may look very different this year, there are still ways we can celebrate, collaborate, and take action on this important anniversary.
Our Earth Week Virtual Happy Hour series begins TODAY!
Throughout Earth Week (Monday April 20th through Thursday April 23rd), join us for a short film, discussion with conservation and Brewshed® Alliance partners, advocacy opportunities, and more!
We had a fun first day of our Earth Week Virtual Happy Hour series. We discussed the Wild Olympics campaign and heard from Washington Wild staff and Haley from Peddler Brewing, a Brewshed Alliance partner. As a founding member of the Wild Olympics campaign, we appreciate your support in making the the Wild Olympics Wilderness & Wild and Scenic Rivers Act a reality. This bill passed in the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this year. We need your support to keep moving forward!
If you want to support the Wild Olympics proposal, sign our petition online here.
Tomorrow, please join us for a discussion on the Skagit Headwaters! Hear from Amy Trainer, Environmental Policy Director with the Swinomish Tribe and get an update from Hellbent Brewing, a Brewshed Alliance Partner.
